Delivery of Workshops & Masterclasses

• Workshops and Masterclasses begin and end promptly at the designated time.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Workshops may be cancelled by NRC at least seven days prior to the event, if there is low registration or other logistical issues at the time. When a workshop is cancelled, registrants will be notified immediately and will receive a complete refund of all workshop fees.
• Cancellations by registrants: we understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may not be able to attend a workshop that you have registered for. NRC can transfer or refund workshop fees that you have paid or are liable for, in accordance with the following criteria:
  • Cancellation 14 days or more prior to the course start date: full refund (or full transfer of fees to another family member or for another event, tuition, or workshop in the future).
  • Cancellation one to seven days prior to the course start date: 50% refund (with the balance transferable as per above).
  • Cancellation less than one day prior to the course start date: no refund.
• To request the transfer or refund of your workshop registration please email admin@nrcac.edu.au with clear instructions of your request. The time stamp of your email will count as notification for the transfer or refund request.

Permission to Publish

• We would appreciate your permission to obtain and publish CONTENT that may include your / your child’s image and / or name in our publicly available COMMUNICATIONS. COMMUNICATIONS include – but are not limited to – print media, television and video, radio, and publicly available websites. CONTENT includes – but is not limited to – photographs, text, illustrations and graphics, videos, sound recordings, and examples of participants work.
• Please note that in some instances, withholding your permission to publish may prevent your full participation in all aspects of the workshop or masterclass.

Disclaimer

• NRC reserves the right to review and implement changes to fees at any time.
• Our tutors and presenters reserve the right to discontinue a registrant's participation when that registrant’s behavior or attitude is deemed inappropriate.
• For school excursions to the Northern Rivers Conservatorium, the primary supervisor is a member of the child's school staff as appointed by the school.

Terms of Agreement

• I give permission for my child/ward to participate in the activities scheduled for the project.
• I give permission for my child/ward to travel by foot under the supervision of NRC staff, appointed school supervisor and/or volunteers between venues as necessary.
• I give permission for my child/ward to be transported in a private or public vehicle if medical treatment is needed, or between activity sites when deemed necessary. NRC staff or appointed school supervisor would travel with my child/ward in this case.
• In the event of my child/ward requiring medical attention, I understand that the NRC and/or school supervisor will endeavour to communicate with me concerning the required action. If this is not possible, I authorise the person in charge to take action to administer or seek whatever treatment he/she judges to be reasonably necessary.
• I undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and medication while my child/ward is attending the Northern Rivers Conservatorium.
• I understand that although the Northern Rivers Conservatorium will attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury within practical boundaries, accidents do happen and all travel activities carry the risk of personal injury. I acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury in travel activities that will be undertaken during NRC workshops and I accept that risk.
